What a gorgeous Saturday in North Carolina; beautiful blue skies and not a cloud in sight....I found it hard to stay inside so I headed to the park....Started out at the stables where several adults and children were saddling up to go for a ride....perfect photo opportunity...I started clicking and continued on my way over to the barns still clicking and headed out on the trails....Suddenly I saw this little red light in my viewfinder that I had not noticed before...NO CARD....all the pictures I thought I had taken were non existent....Well, what's a girl going to do...I got out my phone and as I continued down the trail I was able to find several sites that got my attention...

I came home and after filling my bird feeders and pulling some weeds in my yard (remember anything to stay outside even if it was 43) I downloaded the pictures I had taken and started editing them...I put them in photoshop and lightroom but for some reason I really just wanted to leave them as they were.
It was such a beautiful day it didn't seem necessary to change them...I will probably go back and play around with them but for this post they are as I took them...(I did crop a few)...

By the way, if you haven't figured it out yet I LOVE LOVE horses....so I take lots of pictures of horses because they are such magnificent and beautiful animals....I love birds but horses have my heart......

  1. i love those barns. such charm & character. i know i have days of silliness with my camera ... sorry to hear of the mishap. i have always enjoyed horses from afar ... they are a little huge in my opinion. had a babysitter that would let me feed them carrots as a kid, their whiskers (nose hairs) or whatever those hairs are called would tickle me so... i've never learned how to ride but i bet it is great exercise. 6. These are all so lovely...I agree, no editing required! I've been in that same situation with my memory card...it's so frustrating when that happens. I'm really scared of horses but I think they are one of the most beautiful creatures on this planet. My sister is a huge horse lover...I just enjoy admiring them from a distance! lol :)
